Tazim from the top of Cory Pass.
(She's lifting the brim of her hat...nice Muslim girls don't make
obscene gestures! :-) The initial part of the ascent was up the
other side of the hump behind her left elbow. We were a bit
concerned by ominous grey clouds looming over the peaks at the
beginning of the hike with such an elevated and exposed destination,
but the weather continually improved on the ascent and it was
beautiful at the pass -- quite sunny, though chilly, but with very
little wind for such a high, narrow col. (The lack of wind was quite
unusual, if the guide books are to be believed.)
